Our Tenets for the Modern Music Student: Every Student should have: Unimpeded access to a quality 21st century music education - Fair access to understanding of Copyrights/Intellectual Property/Music Rights - Equity in access in Music Instruments, Equipment, & Software…none of which should be determined by socioeconomic status.
Mission: The EQ’s mission is to be an educative and community development organization building up the next generation of musicians from novice students to working professionals. Our work is grounded in building a stronger foundation for music students of all socioeconomic backgrounds based on the power of access and knowledge.
